Cerakote Finish
Cerakote is the tolerance tight finish that all branches of the US Military trust for their firearms finishes. In fact, most major gun companies have official cerakote colors that you can pick if you want that look, from Magpul OD Green to Q’s Honey Badger Champagne finish. Naturally, such a high quality, tight tolerance finish costs more, but the proof is in the clientele who rely on it for their careers, from the military to professional motor bike stuntmen.

Powdercoat Finish
Powdercoat is the shiny, candy paint finish that you want if you want a finish to match your pimped out cadillac. Powder coat also has numerous unique 2 step illusion finishes where your red candy paint finish will change from dark to light red depending on the angle and lighting when looked at. Because Powdercoat is thicker, there are possible tolerance fitment issues, but most can be avoided with additional prep work before painting.
